9th APRIL 23. Tour d` Pen-Y-Ghent


Ride Descripiton

Distance- 27 miles Ascent- 2774 ft Terrain- Mixed rocky loose singletrack, Open moorland and some quite roads. Another classic Dales ride takes in some of Yorkshires best riding as we head out from Fiezor, where we pick up the Pennine Bridleway/Great North Trail. We then climb out of Horton in Ribblesdale to ride around the famous peak of Pen Y Ghent. This ride has some tuff climbs, cracking views and awesome descents the Dales has to offer. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by client: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation with more than fourteen days prior to course date results in loss of 20% of full course fees. Cancellation if less than fourteen days prior to course date results in loss of 100% of course fee. However, alternative dates will be offered at the discretion of MTBCY Yorkshire Trail Guide. Cancellation by MTBCY Yorkshire Trail Guide:  MTBCY Yorkshire Trail Guide reserves the right to cancel courses at any time when they feel that riding conditions are unacceptable or for any other circumstances which are outside of their control. In this event, as much notice as possible will be given, and clients will be offered the following options: Either, the same course on different dates, or full refund. If the course has already commenced when the course is cancelled, you will be offered the same course on different date, no refund will be given. MTB Cycle Yorkshire accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property who are participating on a course. Persons who are participating on a course, do so at their own risk, and when doing so agree to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the instructor(s) present at the time. It is the resonsibility of the participant to ride within their limits. If you do not wish to ride on any part of the course, you always have the option to walk. All participants must ensure that their mountain bikes are suitable for off-road use and are in safe working condition prior to attending courses. Cycle helmets, gloves and cycle glasses must be worn at all times as a minimum requirement. The participant may wish to wear additional protection (elbow and knee pads) when attending our courses.
